Hosted by Amanda Bart, a member of WPA's Board of Directors and a dedicated marathon runner*, she's preparing for the 2025 NYC Marathon on November 2nd to raise awareness and critical funding for WPA's programs. Founded in 1845, The Women's Prison Association (WPA) is the nation's first organization committed to helping women and gender-diverse people impacted by incarceration. WPA invests in women and their families, providing opportunities such as alternatives to incarceration, reentry support, employment training, clinical counseling, and supportive housing to help them stabilize, heal, and prosper. Fundraising will support these programs and help clients build limitless and fulfilling futures.
