Kickboxing for a Cause: Asians for Sex Positivity

On Sunday, July 17th, Hit House hosted a Kickboxing for a Cause donation-based workout raising awareness and benefitting Asians for Sex Positivity.

Asians For Sex Positivity is a local New York City community to embrace a sex positive outlook by:

∙ welcoming all sexualities and gender identities

∙ deconstructing fetishization

∙ dismantling sexual shame

Class was taught by one of Hit House's lead instructors, Tobias C. Wong, and hosted by AFSP's founder and artist, XiXi Wang. (Both are pictured below, with Hit House studio manager, Zoe.)

Donations helped to support the AFSP team and fund future events and projects aimed to dismantle sexual shame. Didn't make it to class, but have the means to donate? Donate online here.

Thank you to Smart Water for providing class with complimentary waters and a huge thank you to the staff at Kabisera, a Filipino cafe located at 151 Allen Street, for providing us with post-workout beverages and treats. (Life hack: walk over to the cafe after class for an iced Ube or Pandan latte.)
