Perfect Pair? Boxing & Brownies.

We're only half joking here.

We'll take any reason or excuse to eat brownies - and enjoying them in the name of training? Say less.

What's the difference between Naked Brownie mix and regular brownie mix? "Naked Brownie is a protein-fortified brownie mix that’s designed as an alternative to traditional high sugar and low protein mixes. Made with 15 grams of protein, Naked Brownie is the perfect way to indulge while supporting your health and nutrition goals. As Naked Brownie can be used as a stand-alone brownie mix, simply add water - no additional ingredients needed."

Bake: Preheat the oven to 350F. Mix 5 servings (265g) to 6-7 fl oz of water and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into an oiled baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and dig in!

The brownies are delicious and filling with the recommended recipe, but at Hit House, we couldn't help but wonder... what if we got fancy?

Dancer, kickboxing trainer and pilates instructor, Brianna Biffignani, loves Naked Nutrition (she's a huge fan of the Naked Whey Protein that inspired our holiday smoothies) and has a sweet tooth.

Here are some of her recipe suggestions using Naked Bownie Mix:

  • Avocado: Add a half or whole avocado to make them a little fluffier and moist. That would give a healthy fat boost and would benefit heart health. You can’t really taste it but does add a nice fluff and texture!

  • Nuts: Add a handful of nuts, like chopped cashews (pictured) or chopped walnuts.

  • Peanut Butter: Add a scoop of peanut butter protein powder, like Naked's Powdered Peanut Butter (with 12g protein per scoop).

  • Peanut Butter frosting: Whip up a frosting without butter! Hand mix a few scoops of creamy peanut butter with confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar) until smooth. Natural peanut butter can be too oily for this recipe. Wait until the brownies have cooled and spread across the top (pictured below). Store in the fridge before serving so frosting can harden.

  • Fluffernutter: Wanna go wild? Follow the above recipe, but spread or drizzle marshmallow fluff on top!

Let us know what fun recipe YOU come up with! We're always down to eat brownies. :)
